About our Boxing Taster Sessions
Invictus Wellbeing and Halifax ABC have partnered to deliver a number of boxing and MMA taster sessions for children and young people across Calderdale.
The sessions will last for an hour in an open public space and all equipment will be provided. The sessions are there for young people to perhaps experience boxing/MMA from one of Calderdale's leading boxing instructors, Laura Kaung.
Laura will lead the workshops and give young people an insight in to what boxing and MMA involves, get them involved in some activities, and show how they can get involved in clubs and groups later down the line.
Boxing is a brilliant way to look after your mental health, increase your concentration, discipline and let off some steam. As Tyson Fury once said 'anything is possible with the right mindset'.
