Our Referral Pathway will open on 01/05/25

We’re really sorry, but due to exceptionally high demand, we’re temporarily unable to accept new referrals into our Counselling & Therapeutic Service for the Bradford area.

This has been a difficult decision. We are committed to providing high-quality therapeutic support to every child and young person referred to us, including access to a range of therapeutic approaches and modalities tailored to individual needs. To make sure we can continue to offer safe, effective, and timely support, we have made the temporary decision to pause new referrals at this time.

Our current capacity means that accepting additional referrals would lead to longer waiting times, which we do not believe would be fair or helpful for children, young people, or families seeking support.

Please be advised that referrals for young people residing in the Craven area ARE still being accepted, please follow this link for these referrals only: https://www.selfa.org.uk/referral-form/

We are reviewing our capacity regularly and hope to reopen referrals as soon as possible. Please be assured that this is only a temporary pause.

In the meantime, there are other ways for children and young people to access help and support, both through our services and through other local organisations. You can find more information via the Healthy Minds website
