Liaison & Diversion
Invictus Wellbeing works in partnership with West Yorkshire Liaison & Diversion and West Yorkshire Police to offer timely, effective and accessible mental health and wellbeing interventions to children and young people at risk of crime or who have been through custody.
Criminality and Mental Health Issues go hand in hand and young people going through the criminal justice system are far more likely to suffer from mental health issues, trauma, sexual abuse, domestic violence and substance misuse.
Our partnership with L&D tries to get down to the root cause of these issues as early as possible through counselling, support and social prescribing. We focus on the positive and protective factors in a young person's life to support them and improve their mental and physical health and wellbeing.
