Watch This Space is up and running again! Thanks to funding from Sport England and Active Calderdale, we will be working In partnership with multiple local organisations and providers to deliver a range of projects and sessions which connect young people with nature and physical activity to improve mental health.

All of our projects have been chosen to give young people access to different means of being active and help them try new and exciting activities which are proven to improve mental health, confidence, resilience and physical health.

Skateboarding and Scootering

Let’s get physical!

Skateboarding and scootering can help the body and mind unwind from  stress The leg movements and coordination to achieve balance, combined increased heart rate, can be good for a mental health problem.

Skateboarding releases feel-good chemicals like endorphins and dopamine, which can help reduce stress and increase feelings of happiness . It also improves cognitive function and focus, thanks to the coordination and concentration required to master tricks and navigate obstacles

Come and try something new an push yourself out of your comfort zone. Sibilings are allowed but please book individual places!


If you child is under 11 years old parents are required to stay in the building to supervise. We ask that you please cancel your place if you are unable to attend as a charitable organisations this can waste valuable resources that other young people may be able to use.
