#BlueSomeGood is a fundraising campaign set up by Invictus Wellbeing aimed at raising vital funds to improve the mental health of children and young people in West Yorkshire.

Anchor 1

The campaign focuses on working with schools, colleges, businesses, and organisations to set up exciting challenges, raise vital money, and raise awareness of children's mental health at a local and regional level.

There is no wrong way to #BlueSomeGood, if you work at a school, are a parent of a child or are simply passionate about supporting young people's mental health, then we want to hear from you.

Or you work in a West Yorkshire company and would love to help us raise awareness and hopefully a few pounds along the way please get in touch. Thank you for all your support

FAQs

Q. We're interested but can't do Childrens Mental Health Week
A. Don't worry! We fundraise all year round and can usually accommodate a free assembly or talk for any school/business that supports us. We may just need a bit more time around planning and staff availability.

Q. Do we have to fundraise?
A. No. We understand some schools may be unable to fundraise with their students, we can still offer a free assembly and the chance for your pupils to get involved!

Q. Are your assemblies/talks suitable for all ages?
Our assemblies and talks are designed in house by our team and are prepared to be age appropriate. We therefore create a primary, secondary and adult assembly which we might also tweak with additional stuff to meet each school and business' needs.

Q. Do we have to use Localgiving to fundraise?
A. No, you can collect money however you'd like! However Localgiving allows you to create your own page and all money raised goes directly to us. If you prefer to use your own platform or fundraise in cash, please get in touch with our team!

Q. Why should I fundraise for Invictus Wellbeing and not a national charity?
A. We love our national charities which do so much for raising awareness, campaigning and offering some incredible helplines that we signpost to all the time. However by giving your money to us, you can trust that it goes directly to offering support to a young person in West Yorkshire struggling with their mental health and wellbeing.

Q. We're not in West Yorkshire, can we still get involved?
A: We can offer some support to schools in South, North and East Yorkshire, however our offer is predominantly for schools and businesses in West Yorkshire. Please get in touch with us if you want to discuss further.

Q. Can we do something independently to #BlueSomeGood and still fundraise for Invictus?
A. Yes, absolutely. We love to see the creativity of people passionate about our cause, we've had bungee jumps, parachutes, electric shocks, marathons and much more, show us what you've got!

Q. Can you work with pupils with additional needs? (SEND, SEMH, PRUs)
A. Yes. We would just need to work with you to best understand the needs of your pupils and we can adapt our package as much as possible to make it inclusive for your pupils.

Q. We're a college/university, can we get involved?
A. 100%, we work with young people 5-25 so we'd love to raise awareness and funds to support young people 16-25.
